Objectives

Imparting the knowledge of the tradition and the religion of youngdrung Bon in a systematic and modern way to the students of the department with the aim of preservation and propagation of the religion and the tradition of Youngdrung Bod, the most ancient religion and culture of Tibet, is the heart of the objectives of the Department of Youngdrung Bon.

Ongoing Teaching Works

The course of teachings covers the sutra and the tantra works taught by Tonpa Shenrab Mio, the founder teacher of Youngdrung Bon; and the commentaries thereupon by his followers including the Science of Reasoning, levels of ethics, Madhyamaka texts so on and so forth.
